Is it possible for me to pointe [go dance]?
I'm going to 11 on 20 August and I was taking ballet for 5 years, will start next year my 6th Ballet year. Can I go to the punch line, or I'm too young or not experienced enough. Even if that feel the pain when you dance en pointe?
I think you're starting pointe on a good point in your career as a dancer. It appears that you have the experience and probably are really good. With 11 muscles will continue to form and the feet are growing like crazy so that you go through shoes quickly. You can begin to prepare for punch by a few exercises to strengthen of the feet. Try a look at some of these videos: http://www.youtube.com/lisahowell2 Now, in theory, if the right pointe shoes and padding should not … hurt but it works. You should avoid blisters on your toes band. The way your toes are shaped so will affect your pointe. My toes are conical, so that I'm feeling a lot of pressure on my big toe. It took a while for a shoe that allows the pressure to be evenly distributed. Good Luck see

But Friday night opening performance successfully celebrated dance from around the world – and in me the desire to for classes in the classical Spanish and Indian dance.
